When Aavya was born, first-time mommy Priyanka was busy making a list of baby accessories and dresses she wanted to order from overseas to dress up her little girl. However, the pandemic made it next to impossible to order anything. After searching for days for the kind of products she saw on websites abroad she could not find anything close to the same quality and styles anywhere in India. That's when the thought to create an Indigenous,'made-in-India' alternative for moms who aspired to dress up their little ones in styles that were unique and comfortable was born. She was lucky to find the support of two of her closest friends (more like family) Pritika and Mudit, who not only appreciated the idea but decided to partner with her to spread happiness through creative and modern designs for every mother’s life that would make the process of dressing up their little one a memorable experience. What started with making headgear out of old t-shirts is now a flourishing range of baby headgear products, apparel, and other fashion accessories. This was the genesis behind starting Aavya India.
